We are pleased and honoured to announce that on Friday 30th June 2023, we completed the acquisition of Widdop and Co. from our father and uncles and we are now the owners of Widdop and Co.

We are both so excited to have positively secured the future of our business and our whole Widdop family for another generation.

Our customers, suppliers and people really are the heart of this business and therefore this huge milestone represents an important transition for all of us as we adapt and respond to the ever-changing world and market in which we operate.

In the same way that the business today is hugely different to the one that our father and uncles inherited over 40 years ago, we are sure that even faster change will be central to protecting and developing the business we now take on as custodians for the next 140 years.

This new chapter represents a huge opportunity to leverage the incredible history and platform that has been built by our predecessors and to achieve even greater things in our future, as the leading company in our Industry. You, our valued customer will continue to be our number priority.
